Fanfiction

While I generally dislike the concept of Fanfiction beign a desecration on someone else's hard work, there are sircumstances where I'll settle down and pound something out for the sake of writing and creating something other than drivel. Other times, I'll run across a peice of fanfiction so horribly written and out of character for the theme in question, I feel compelled to try and build on it and better a possibly good story idea. Still other times, I'll find an unexplained loophole or confusing character factoid and seek a way to explain it for the further suspension of beleif that is needed to enjoy a series.

Most of what you'll see here willr evolve around videogames however, and maybe one or two forays into anime. Most ym fanfiction ended up being developed around Pokemon for the sheer ability to create ones self or an alter ego and immerse ones owns toryline into a world where little elemental creatures are the true rulers of the universe. Buahaha.

Ahem. I'll post some stuff here later.

A Day in Vanadiel: Stories of origional characters traveling in the world of FFXI
- Red Mage 20+ A journal entry from Bokchoy, lvl 22 2004
- A Day in the Life of Bokchoy (part 1) A short series of posts written at 5:45 AM back on Leviathan. 2005
- A Day in the Life of Bokchoy (part 2) Trying to write the day's play in-character ended up providing great entertainment for myself and the readers of the forum this was origionally posted on (and is now dead). 2005
- Mechanical Garden A short entry by Bonfire, gardening Tarutaru 2005
- Twisted Shadows A short story revolving around Seran the Blind Monk and the terrible Ravenn of the Shadows, possible continuation with another writer later. 2008

Bloodbowl: One of my longest running fanfictions with a twist on the fandom. I've neevr finished it and dont know if I'll ever work on it again. It got a little contrived when my reviewers at the time kept trying to get themselves inserted to the story.
- Bloodbowl ch.1 The story teaser, was used to test intrest. 2001
- Bloodbowl ch.2 The teaser ended up being alarmingly successful, so a second chapter was generated. 2002
- Bloodbowl ch.3 This is more mechanical filler than a real chapter, working out in my mind how the world worked around them. 2002
- Bloodbowl ch.4 I was on a roll this year. 2002
- Bloodbowl ch.5 And went on a year long hiatus before I wrote again. 2003
- Bloodbowl ch.6 This was the last chapter that was seen by the fandom, but the storyline is still sitting and stewing in the back of my head. Unfortuantly, there are so many MANY pokemon nwo and the world has expanded so vastly since this story was written, Im unsure if I'll ever do more with it, as the scope of such a project is a lot bigger than it was back in the day of 151. 2004
There IS however, a similar story that was being written with Origami Gryphon that has never offically been closed off and may have a blending or branching effect on this story's origional concept. Work will be put into the Pokemon fanfiction at greater length at a diffrent time.

Oh, lets see, what to add today.. Hmm..
FF8 Fanfiction never was my strong suit, but it was always so much fun to play with. I've got a few shorts for the game that I may post over time, derived from challenges from writing groups or Squick challenges from the people I met while attending Yaoicon. Loopholes is a subseries based on weird things I noticed occuring in anime and videogames that have no explination.
- Loopholes: Suici-- Eh.. Inwhich someone told me suicide fics couldnt be funny and I proved otherwise. 2003
- Stables Warning; This story contains homosexual content, so if you dont like hard boy lovins, skip this link. — Seifer/Zell, short challenge fic response. 2007
